NLH vs Omaha Cash Game Trips: Which Destination Fits You?
A practical way to choose a Poker Tourist trip based on whether you mainly play NLH, Omaha/PLO, or both.
NLH players usually have more flexible options
No-Limit Hold’em is usually the easiest game to place in a travel package because it appears across more destinations and stake levels.
If you primarily play NLH 1/3 or 2/5, Ayia Napa and Bratislava-style offers may be a better starting point.
Omaha players should check depth and demand
Omaha and PLO games can be excellent, but they are more sensitive to player demand and table formation. Bigger-destination festivals such as Batumi or St Maarten may be better suited to players who need higher Omaha stakes.
Always ask whether Omaha hours count toward your offer and what happens if the game does not run on a given day.
